MYCOLY (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an educational decision-support tool for clinicians and learners studying human mycology. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use MYCOLY.
1. Information we collect
We do not collect any personal information unless you choose to create an account. If you sign up, we store your email address and any assessment cases you choose to save. All saved records are stored in your own secure account and are protected by Row Level Security — only you can see your own records.
2. How we use information
We use your account information only to provide you with access to MYCOLY and to let you save, view, and manage your own cases. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
3. Data security
MYCOLY uses industry-standard encryption, secure authentication, and database-level access controls. However, no online service can guarantee absolute security. Please follow your institution’s confidentiality policies when entering any patient information.
4. Your rights
You can delete your saved cases or your account at any time. If you need help, contact us through the details on mycoly.com.
5. Educational use only
MYCOLY is not a medical device and does not provide autonomous diagnoses. Clinical decisions remain your responsibility and must follow local policy, guidelines, and professional judgment.
